Are you serious? No offense... It really depends on your hardware, application and personal ability... But Informix is used in environments with ten's or hundred's of tables with millions of rows... With thousands of concurrent sessions... I could give you some interesting numbers... but the point is that 6M rows is nothing these days... Of course, if you want to cross that table with another of that size (all set of data) it will take a while... But that's not the usual OLTP use. Regards.
