If you are coming from a Sun to an Intel box, you had better use
dbexport/dbimport
or you will have all your bytes swapped.
If you use ontape, there are some issues with sizes of spaces, etc.
dbimport /export is a bit slower than other methods, it works great for me.
Remember the "-l" on dbimport to get logging turned on or you'll need to use
ontape to
turn it on later.
You could run out of log space during the dbimport if you have not resized
the logs yet.
Just do "onstat -l" in another window and perform ontape -a when they get
close to full
or if the dbimport freezes;
