Any Experience With GIS DataBlades

Greetings to all those kind people taking the time to read this. Our company is developing a GIS type application and we are currently trying to decide which database product to incorporate with it. In order to help us make our decision, I would like to ask for feedback from any people who have experience developing similar applications using Informix Universal Server and any relevant, existing DataBlades.
