I4GL and terminfo (xterm and foreign terminal)

Sirs, we had a Siemens MX500 machine with special terminals attached and worked with a 4gl-application. Now we are transferring the software to a Sparc platform with solaris 2.3. We must keep the old foreign terminals and all programs should run at these terminals like before. The old machine with Informix 4.0 used his special termcap entry in /usr/lib/informix/termcap for the terminal. I tried to use the old termcap, but there is a lot of strings which captoinfo does not under- stand. Then I used infocmp and tic for translating to the terminfo database. This worked well, but the terminal does not underline. There is an entry in the database, but 4gl does not use it? Second: What is the correct entry for SUN's /usr/openwin/bin/xterm? Also here not all entries are working.
