You other Informix gods, We are looking at going with EMC/SYMMETRIX 200 gig and 200 mirror. We want to archive the 200 Gig to and SYMMETRIX EXTENDED-ONLINE STORAGE (EOS) RAID disks. My question is can we archive the 200 gig instance onto the HARD DISK. I believe EMC has got over the 2 gig limit per file on the Unix OS. But can Informix ONBAR or ONARCHIVE handle the massive data and if so HOW? By-the-way we are going to be using version 7.22 of Informix om the SUN platform. robin cyrus Sr. Informix DBA Promark 1 inc.
