It's all owned by root. Installing a new version should fix the permissions. Alternatively, dig out utils_jl from the IIUG Software Archive and use ixchkperms and ixsetperms to check and set the permissions. The correct values are stored in a file in $INFORMIXDIR/etc; I think the name is sefiles. > Art S.
