Hi all!! Thanks to Art S. Kagel now I know how can I call "C" functions from Stored Procedures. I mean actually call a "C" compiled function, say from a shared library. I know that I have to use Universal Data Option with functions built into a DataBlade module declared to the engine. Somebody can explain me whats that Universal Data Option and DataBlade module and how can I practicaly do that?
First of course you need to get UDO. But for now. Checkout the Informix WEB Site, online documentation, Informix by Example, Extending Database Servers and look at the section toward the botton "Writing Datablade Modules". You can also look at the Datablade documentation online. Art S. Kagel Igor wrote: > > Hi all!! > > Thanks to Art S.
