8 ORDER BY fields in Reports vs. 16 in OnLine selects

We have the following: SUN MICROSYSTEM SPARCS with SUN OS 4.1.1 Informix-Online: 4.10UG1 Informix-4GL : 4.10UE2 My problem: Informix-OnLine allows _16_ fields in the order by clause of a select statement, but the 4GL report routine only allows a maximum of _8_ order by fields. Is this a holdover from the Standard engine limit of 8?
