Onpladm error connecting to socket

Hi all,
I have a problem on my IDS 10, running on Suse Linux Enterprise Server 10,
everything seems to run well, but am attempting to run a job using HPL
Onpladm, when i execute onpladm run job <myjob> -fl, the thing goes like,
Connecting to onpload, please wait ...
Error connecting to Socket
What socket?

Paul,
Check the session table of the onpload database, and ensure that
the server column is valid for your setup.

session table looks good, the server field is OK.
But still nothing doing!
What is this socket is it connecting to?
Is there a deamon i need to run?
When i run it from the GUI enviroment, i get a time out trying to connect to
onpload error!
