Greeting people, I have a system running Informix-Online that is required to interchange data with another system running INGRES 6.04. By the way, both system run on UNIX operating system. Basically I two choices: 1. Download the data from Informix-Online to a flat file (ASCII format) and transfer (FTP, rcp, etc) it to the other system running INGRES. My question here is that can INGRES "upload" the data from the mentioned flat file to it's own database. In short, does INGRES have similar features of "LOAD" and "dbimport". 2. Source for a third-party software that allowed data interchange from Informix-Online to INGRES database. Any ideas here ? Please advice. Thank you.
