Software Development Tools Study

Hi! I am a doctoral student at Southern Illinois Univerisity. For my thesis I am doing a study on the Impact of Software Development Tools. The focus is on studying the development environment in which Software Development Tools are used, how they are implemented and what is their impact on the development process. I have developed a survey for this purpose. I request the participation of people in IS departments of organizations involved in managing or have knowledge of the software / application development process in the organization. I need a large number of people to participate to do a quality study and also to complete this study. The survey is available on-line at the URL http://www.siu.edu/departments/coba/mgmt/survey/sdp.html I can send the survey by regular mail if you would like a hard copy. Needless to say I will post the results on the web and inform all participants. I apologise for multiple postings across usenet groups. Please e-mail your questions, comments, concerns. Ravi P.
