UNIX commands in Perform
Posted in 1995
Hi all! I am having some problems with users not inputting data correctly, and I would like to know who has input each row. I was hoping that I would be able to do this in perform, using something like: before add of "table name" let id = `whoami` If this was possible, it would put the user's unix id into a column, and I would immediately be able to track down any problems. Is there any way I can do this, bearing in mind I only have access to I-SQL v 4.10, an SE engine, SunOS 4.something and I don't do C !!
