Hi,
IDS 9.4 Severs have introduce "set local" statment to support this.
You should be able to swtich between database by changing the locale using
the above statement in the same session.
This is very much possible for locale which are codeset compatible.
Please refer to IDS 9.40 manual for select local syntax.
I do not know if you can do that in a 4GL though.
