Informix Database Analyst Needed

INFORMIX DATABASE ANALYST NEEDED My client company, located in a small town in Upstate NY, has asked us to recruit candidate's for the following position. Database Analyst (Informix) My client seeks a highly skilled database analyst who will be able to serve as the I.S. department's point person in the development of a Database Administration team that would include Application Programmers, Network Administrators and Computer Operators. The qualified candidate would be responsible for defining security and performance monitoring procedures as well as disaster recovery and database backup strategies. The candidate would also handle a variety of database analyst functions (table/index setup, etc...) And handle database installations, upgrades and tuning. A Bachelor's degree in a computer related field and 3-5 years of Informix experience is preferred. Excellent communication and team building skills are required.
