Re: date manip. prob with AIX & OnLine 5.05.UC6
If the following SQL error is the result of the same bug (B55557),
a subtraction operation's assumed connection to the bug may be a incorrect.
I get the error (1263) with OnLine 5.05.UC1 (though 4.10.UE4 works correctly).
(OnLine 4.10.UE4)
select extend(date("10/31/97"), day to day)
from systables
where tabid = 1;
(expression)
31
-------
(OnLine 5.05.UC6)
select extend(date("10/31/97"), day to day)
from systables
where tabid = 1;
(expression)
1263: A field in a datetime or interval value is out of range or incorrect.
