Error 1263 caused by commit
Posted in 1996
I was wondering if anyone has seen the following and found a workaround
(yes, it is being called into tech support). If you uncomment --1 and
execute procedure test() or leave --1 commented and uncomment --2 and
--3 you get a datetime/interval error (1263) as soon as current isreferenced. BTW, using 7.10UC1 on Solaris 2.x
drop database aa;
create database aa with log mode ansi;
create table t ( col1 char(1));
create procedure test2()
define a int;
select count(*) into a from t;--1 commit work;
end procedure;
create procedure test()
define datefield datetime year to fraction; let datefield=current;
--2 call test2();
--3 commit work;
let datefield=current;
end procedure;
