ontape is suid root, sgid informix?

hi, for a customer who doesn't want operations to have the informix password, i was looking at doing something i've done quite a few times in the past, put an suid wrapper around ontape. but in looking at my 7.24 instance, i see that ontape is suid root, sgid informix. is this something new to the newer releases? i know many people have done the wrapper thing in the past, including myself, so i am assuming that this is a new change, even though 7.24 isn't all that new? anyone know? mickm -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a signature file.
