Re: Informix&SCO: installation trouble

Our Online 7.x run fine with the following setup in onconfig: SHMBASE 0x0 SHMVIRTSIZE 8000 SHMADD 8192 SHMTOTAL 0 on both SCO Unix 3.2.4.2 (Online 7.10.UC1) and 5.0.0d (OnLine 7.12.UC1) You said nothing about any versions. There are many versions of the OS as well as the OnLine engines. If you have SCO 5.0.0 you must make sure you have installed the d-patches. Without these nothing will run. The patches now are: rs500d, net100 and oss449a For SCO 5.0.2 you need only oss499a The oss499a is very new, and although it's not required to run it should be installed. For older versions other patches are needed. Se your release notes from Informix. "Konstantin V.
