Index corruption

Hello, Env:AIX 5.2 IDS 9.4 FC4. Created new index for the entire table and within 8 hours while it was sending index to HDR secondary(while synchronising) the entire system freezed with block checkpoint, I had to stop the server on secondary to keep production moving. Did anybody had similar problems, what is the solution for this. Also had index corruption on another server just 2/3 days back, we never had any index issues earlier while we were running AIX 5.1 IDS 9.3 UC3. Thanks in advance, Sushil...

Known problem, happens when index size (in particular, part of index pages allocated among previously-used pages) is bigger then 3/4 of the physical log in HDR environment.
