Problem: "753: Access denied - Single user limit ..."

Using dbaccess V5.01.UD2, SE, SCO 3.2.4 Problem: 'create database fred;' says 753: Access denied - Single user limit has been exceeded Lies, all of it!!! Firstly, we have a mulit-user licence, and secondly, there is no-one else using the software at all. Now, the database _is_ created; if I try use it (dbaccess fred -), I get the same message. Funny thing, all works just fine for another user ... Anyone got any ideas what's going on here?
