We probably could deduce which file you are looking in (but I'm not going to do so), but the software does identify which version of DBI and DBD::Informix you are using by embedding it in the name of the directory where the software is extracted, as well as in numerous other places. So, please can you report version numbers sensibly in future. That said, you're probably using DBD::Informix 0.58; I'd guess the DBI is around version 0.90. Certainly, it has been part of DBD::Informix since 0.55; I'm pretty sure it was present in 0.26 (which preceded 0.50). Also, take a look at the tests; I'm pretty sure that some of those set AutoCommit. I suppose it is conceivable that they don't; I don't have the source available as I type. I use Solaris 2.6, GCC 2.8.1 and ESQL/C 7.24 or 9.16 against 7.30.UC1 IDS without problems.
