Re: Informix 7.10 & HP-UX 10.x

The latest event in this saga (we are RTT's VAR's), is that the problem seems to be with the communication between the Rapid 4GL and the engine. SQL tests on 7 and 5 showed 7 way out in front, but when we placed the SQL's in the 4GL, 7 become a dog (or rather the 4GL did not communicate our requests as quickly as we would like). Our next step is to determine whether there is something wrong with the Rapid on the HP port, or whether there is a more general problem. Watch this space.
