In particular Lester's on vacation so he cannot speak for himself. I'm going to go out on a limb here and speak for the WAIUG board, since I know most of them I feel able to do that. No one on that body has any hidden agenda. Their only agenda is quite open - to empower IDS users and make their jobs easier and to provide a voice with IBM. We'll have to hear from Lester and the others, but if there's DB2 content at a meeting there are only two possible reasons, and likely their both true. IBM offered the opportunity and users are interested because they are using IDS and DB2 in their shops as we are here at Bloomberg and many other shops in the Capitol District area and elsewhere. Indeed I've forwarded Lester's announcement to out DB2 DBA team because it's a useful session and I think we should be sending a representative to the meeting to attend. Art S. Kagel
