Connection does not exist.

Hi I am running an Informix 7.22 server on a Solaris 2.51 machine & am running the client (built using RW DBTools.h++ 2.11) on a HP-UX 10.20 machine. I am able to make a db connection across the net. But, if i try to execute a SELECT sql statement the execute statement says 'Connect does not exist' Vendor Libraray error (-1803). I am using 'ontlitcp' in my $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts file.
