Yes, all system level activity is still logged but dat level activity is
not. That includes database schema changes and space allocation, even if
the database has NO LOG. You can easily confirm this by doing the CREATE
INDEX and then using onlog to look at the output. And each extent
allocation counts as a singleton transaction and flushed the logical log
buffer, or at least it did when I last looked at it.
