Stefan,
I have seen this a lot of times on Pyramid MiServer, SUN and DG machines.
By setting the TERM environment variable to the terminal type and the
TERMCAP variable to the termcap I want to use, the error message disappeared
every time.
For my Xterminal an my Korne Shell I use:
export TERM=xterms
export TERMCAP=/etc/termcap
The terminal type TERM must be defined in the termcap file TERMCAP. Try to
verify this by: grep $TERM $TERMCAP
