Security Programs

Hello informixers, I've been given the wonderful task of security implementation on a warehouse we're putting together here. Users will access it via PC's and a few will have telnet access. We have two instances 1)8.10.UD1 - The warehouse 2)7.20 - Marketing Mart. Using roles on the mart is out of the question because we cannot expect our users to be able to execute the "set role" command before submitting queries. I need to control access at the table level. I'm looking for a simple security program using 4gl or ESQL-C is this available in the archives? I don't want to go through the hassle of duplicating this if I can leverage work already done. Does anyone know of any third part software for doing this that will run on XPS? Hopefully this describes what I need well enough, if not I'm sure I'll here about it :) Thanx in advance for any and all advice given james_t_ford@fleet.com
