We are using Informix DRDA 6.10 on a SUN Solaris 2.4 to link to IBM DB2. The communication layer on the Sun is SunLink SNA Peer-to-peer RunTime 8.0 We are trying to connect to the IBM through an SDLC line. When we tried to start the peer-to-peer we've faced the following problems : 1 - I_LINK ioctl failed : Timer expired 2 - S_ICGETMODE failed : Bad file number , reason=0x0 3 - connect to deamon failed : local host 4 - Execution error , rc=150004, : DEFINE_DLC CANT_ACCESS_DEAMON and sometimes we get the last error with CANT_CONFIG_DEAMON instead of CANT_ACCESS_DEAMON. If anyone have any comments or sugeestions regarding this issue please contact me via email. Any information on the Informix DRDA also is highly appreciated.
