Hello: One customer use openview to monitor informix 10 database, they find one table "hashtemp.th_overflow_ffffffffffffffff " use lots of extents, but this tables isn't a user table, Do anybody know what this table come from? thks...
Some user session is doing some HASH join. This is a temporary structure constructed to resolve some query. It will go away when the query finishes. You may find similar "tables" for SORTS and ORDER BY. Regards.
