Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
David Grove could not find the old IIUG Informix forum. Art Kagel said it was written in code that cannot be ported to the new servers and the old server was recently retired; the IIUG Board is working with IBM to import the content into the IBM Community. Content is saved but not online. Lester Knutsen offered 5,000 saved list emails; Michael Hoffman said he was the third to ask. Unresolved.

I can't seem to find the old IIUG IDS forum, any more.
Does anyone know how to access it?
Thank you.

The old forums were written in code that cannot be ported to the new IIUG servers so they are no longer available. The IIUG Board is working with IBM to import the old content into the new IBM Community Forums.

Thank you for the information, Art.
Was that a recent thing? I mean the old forum had been available at from links at the IIUG site ever since the new Community Forums appeared. But, now it isn't.
There is a lot of valuable information there.

The content was being supplied by the old server but that was recently finally retired. We have the content saved, but not available on the new server.
Though given that this is the second query about it in a week I think we may have to do something until IBM figures put how to import it into the Community.

Art,
What format is the old Informix form data in?
I have over 5,000 Informix List emails that I selected to save that included some of the forms going back to 2002 that I have been thinking would be helpful to put online for this reason.

Not sure. But I think that it is on an annotated text format.

Hi Art, If my private query about the old Forums was not being counted, make that *3* in the past week. ;-)
