Request: MRP Packages for a small software integrator

I'm trying to locate some packages that will help our company manage what is essentially a software/hardware integration business. We have some software products that we bundle and sell with many hardware products. We need sales order processing, purchase order processing, inventory, work order processing, and customer configuration management, among other things. I've heard the term MRP kicked around but since I'm not an MIS type I'm not sure if MRP is what I need. I've found some packages that are essentially accounting packages with modules for inventory, etc but these systems require the financials to be kept on the same system. We will need to use our home office accounting system and I'd like to avoid unnecessary data management requirements at this site. We're too small to consider the large products from PeopleSoft and SAP. I'm trying to find systems that are oriented towards smaller businesses. We run mostly Unix workstations on a TCP/IP network. But we have some PCs as well. I'd like to avoid building our own system. Any leads or suggestions would be very welcome.
