Hi, can someone help me? I need to install again IDS Workgroup 7.31.UC6 Linux version RedHat, our server is almost dead, SCSI disk problems. The problem is the CDRom is damaged and I need someone who can send me the instalation files for me, so I can change the damaged disk for another one. please if you can help me, send a e-mail to paulo.resende@grandupla.com Thank you
Can you copy the already installed files from the current installation directory to the new disk or new machine? If you 'tar' the directory as 'root' and untar the archive onto the new location as 'root' as well the permissions will be properly retained and you will not need the installation CD. Art Art S.
