Yes, this would be useful - a brief reminder of the command-line syntax
available from the command line. A -h option would be better than
nothing.
Can't the FrameMaker software used for writing the manuals spit out man
pages as well as PDF/PostScript?

I too like paper books. A book gives you extra screen space. Helps if it
can lie flat without use of a third hand, though. See O'Reilly books for
how to do that.
