Q+E

It's me again, Getting the Q+E database editor to connect to Informix has been an absolute nightmare so far. The first problem which was the error 'Cannot open sql.iem file' was solved by creating the folder 'c:\\informix\\msg' and dumping the .iem files in there. Thanks to all those for their suggestions. I have narrowed the second problem ('Back end not found. Or back end busy') to the Ldllsqlw.dll file in the informix\\bin directory. For Q+E to work this needs to be an older version rather than the current version which is v5.01. I need (approx) v4 or something similar. Can someone either mail this version to me (I think it's around the 50K size) or point me to somewhere on the net where this is possible. Thanks, MichaelOS MichaelOS@peregrine.ie
