Problem with On-line restore

We've been doing some tests on a new 486 system with many disks in order to get better performance from our Online database. We set up the chunks across 8 drives and imported a large database >900M. As part of our testing we performed a level 0 archive, followed by a full restore. No errors were reported, but having restored the database we discovered that some of our tables data and indexes were corrupt. They were not corrupt before the level 0 archive was performed. We have repeated this process twice now, with exactly the same result.
