Hi Franck, You will find in the ${INFORMIXDIR}/bin a file call c4gl. In their you will find a line looking a bit like: CC=${CC:-cc} You can change this to read: CC=${CC:-i386-glibc20-linux-gcc} or alternatively, which forces the issue: CC=i386-glibc20-linux-gcc There are other ways, such as using INFORMIXC, etc, etc., but at least this should get you on the road, and from there you can start to get elegant!
