Inet does indeed work with Powerbuilder but I don't like it. It had some bugs and performance wasn't very good. A big plus to setting it up via ODBC is you can use any ODBC source interchangeably and other programs that use ODBC (besides powerbuilder) will be able to use the informix database. Lastly - it's cheaper. Recommended (no connection other than a happy user) Openlink ODBC.
