From previous experience I found that the only date format that worked
over INET was dmy4/ (the 4 is important!!!) However, that is only the
beginning. When converting the date to HyperScript the seed date of
HyperScript is one day out from 4GL thereby inducing strange anomalies!
When INFORMIX were asked at the last INFUSE meeting to specify what seed
date was used with NewEra they were unable to give an answer.
