Hi,
i=B4m working under SuSe Linux 6.0 with IDS 7.3 and started the followin=
g
script for testing fragmentation:
create table test (nr integer, x char(60))
fragment by expression =
nr between 1 and 50 in db1,
nr between 51 and 100 in db2;
insert into test values (1,"x");
insert into test values (51,"x");
create table test2 (nr integer, x char(60)) in db3;
insert into test2 values (2000, "x") ;
alter fragment on table test
attach test, test2 as nr > 1000
After this i get always the error
782 Attached table is fragmented
But: I know from SQL-Syntax, that the surviving table may be fragmented,
not the
consumed table. If fragmentation of table test is removed in the above
example the alter fragment works fine. =
Any Ideas?
Greetings Christian
