I experience the problem all too often. I'm sure it is a bug in the version I'm running (7.23.UC1). I only see it when there are networked connections (ODBC or not). I think it concerns sessions connected from hosts with hostnames which exceed 8 characters in length. I believe it's fixed in 7.30. Regards, bc
