esql performance on HP-UX 10.20

Hi I've a concern with esql performance on HP-UX 10.20. I run a simple select request either with esql and with dbaccess. On a HP-UX 9.04 system, if dbaccess takes 1second, esql takes 0.5second On a HP-UX 10.20 system, if dbaccess takes 1second, esql takes 3seconds. So a first conclusion is that esql is 6 times less performant on HP-UX 10.20. Does anybody know why ? Is it a configuration problem or something like that ? Thanks for your help. This problem is critical for us because we have to migrate to 10.20 to be Y2k compliant, but we can't accept bad performance. mailto:pap@sablet.grenoble.hp.com

Did you recompile under 10.20, or are you trying to use the 9.04 executables on 10.20? Art S. Kagel
