MOD function in Informix

A reserve word MOD exists (page D-5) in the INFORMIX 4GL reference manual that leads me to suspect that it may be a function (possibly aggragate) in 4GL. I've looked around and tried some simple programs w/o success. Can anyone help? Thanks. P.S. All i need is a page number in the manuals (we have VERS 4.00 on a unix box ) and ver 2 or 3 on PC's.
