Re: Informix Export Capabilities

OmniReplicator from Praxis International (web site: http://www.praxisint.com ) replicates changed data from Informix to Oracle (and, if required, simultaneously in the other direction as well) on either a continuous or scheduled basis. OmniCopy, also from Praxis, automates the movement of extracts, on a scheduled basis (e.g., each night at a particular time, or every so many hours), between two databases (like OmniReplicator, that can be a mix of heterogeneous databases - Oracle, Informix, Sybase, DB2 and Microsoft SQL Servers can be source databases. Those and others can be targets). OmniCopy has a number of apply modes: full refresh to replace the target database; append to add new records to the end of the target; row refresh in which a source row takes precedence if it has the same key as a target row; and, merge which can be used to merge columns from different source tables into a single target table.
