Data load

Hello all, I am trying to import data from a SAP database (A) on Informix to a datawarehouse (B) I am building on a seperate instance of Informix. SAP stores the date fields as FLOAT datatype, format yyyymmdd.I need to import these fields into the datawarehouse as DATE datatypes, format mm/dd/yyyy. I am loading the data as INSERT INTO table1 SELECT col1, col2 FROM TABLE2; Any ideas!!!
