I am using SE 7.20 UD4 with DBCENTURY set to "C" In the name of research only - make sure all your "0" are in fact zeros and not the character "O" !!!!! I know it is a wild shot but you never know........ Strange but true......... select....... where date_field = "2902O0" (5th position char "O" and not zero) reveals as many true answers in your database !!! - It also works if you put any other character in this position!!!!! select ....... where date_field = "29020O" (6th position char "O" and not zero) reveals a -1204 error (invalid year in date) select .......where date_field = "29O200 (3rd position "O" and not zero) reveals a -1218: String to date conversion error Have some happy bug-free holidays. > -----Original Message----- > From: Carlos [SMTP:peisa@peisa.com] > Sent: 22 December 1999 14:44 > To: informix-list@iiug.org > Subject: RE: Y2K problem on Standard Engine > > We've got Informix SE 7.24.UC1, DBCENTURY is set to C and DBDATE to > DMY4/, > we've been also trying with DBDATE=DMY2/ and it doesn't work either. > > Christophe MAUMONT <informatique@univitis.fr> escribi' en el mensaje de > noticias 83qc8a$l5n$1@jaydee.iway.fr... > > Bonjour, > > > > What's your versions, I don't have this trouble.
