Reading dates from Informix SP to Powerbuilder

Hi Everyone, I have an interesting problem reading dates from an informix SP into PB. Environment: Informix On-Line 7.13.UC1 on HP-UX 10.X Powerbuilder 4.0.02 Problem: I have an informix stored procedure that returns the current date and time on the server using the TODAY and CURRENT (hour to second) constants in informix. When I run the SP on the server using DB access, I get the proper results. When I excute the procedure from the DB Admin painter in PB, I get the proper results. However, when I call the SP from PB script and return the results into a date and datetime variables respectively, I get incorrect results in the date variable. The date is returned as 31 December, 1899. If I modify the calling script in PB to read the date into a datetime field, it gets returned as 01 January 1899. The other thing is that I did a little checking and found that this used to work perfectly until a certain date and then it started to fail occasionaly from where on it got progressively worse to the present situation where it fails almost 100% of the time. That's even more confusing to me - the fact that the behavior is not consistent and I have found no distinguishing characteristics (eg user, time of day, specific client etc.) for the time it has worked/works. Anybody have any ideas to what's going on?!? Additional Info: DBDATE parameter is set to MDY2/ on the server Windows date format is set to MDY with a "/" seperator The edit mask on the column in the datawindow is also set to mm/dd/yy Any suggestions/feedback would be greatly appreciated!
