Hi Informix-ers ! Got a few questions that I hope you guys could help me with, 1) How does Informix -4GL connect with the database ? Does it use Embedded SQL (ESQL) or does it use CLI or some other library ? 2) I've heard & read in Informix literature that I-CLI 2.X could be used to connect to both Informix 7.X and 5.X Databases. Prior to CLI 2.X what was used for Informix client side connectivity ? Did they even have database client side software at that time ? Thanks Chaminda Peries Dynasty Technologies Inc. Houston, TX
