It depends. If you only have one database in this instance, then yes, that

I assume you mean "a _dbspace_"? You can stick it all in one dbspace that's
big enough, or you can split off individual tables into separate dbspaces,
or you can fragment a table across multiple dbspaces. By default, it will
try to stick all the tables in the dbspace in which you created the
database, which, by default, is the rootdbs
