I followed the instructions in the CLI } programmers manual to configure CLI on UNIX. But I cannot get a } connection to the data source. } } I am running a sample application that uses SQLAllocEnv () to get a } environment handle - it works. } } SQLAllocConnect () to get a connection handle - it works } } SQLConnect (connection_handle, data_source_name, userid, password) } THIS FAILS. !! } } my INFORMIXDIR is set to /work/informix } } here I have a file called .odbc.ini - which has the Data Source } Name defined in it. There is also an odbcinst.ini file. I believe the } entries for the DSN in these files are correct. } I checked the ODBC driver it is available in the odbc/lib } directory & is called libifmx07.sl } } From what I could diagnose, when I run my application it doesn't seem } to access the .odbc.ini file.
