Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

After a series of hardware and Informix Dynamic server crashes, I have the
following sql that runs and will not complete. I have stopped and re-started
the Informix engine, re-booted the host, and have onmode zd the sess ID. The
sql will go away, but returns and will not complete:
Informix Dynamic Server 9.30.FC1
SUN 280R running Solaris 8
INFORMIX ha_prod >onstat -g sql 101
Informix Dynamic Server Version 9.30.FC1 -- On-Line -- Up 11:56:54 -- 113664
Kbytes
Sess SQL Current Iso Lock SQL ISAM F.E.
Id Stmt type Database Lvl Mode ERR ERR Vers
101 - sysmaster RR Wait 300 0 0 9.03
Last parsed SQL statement :
select count ( * ) from sysmaster : sysrstcb where logbu <> 0
INFORMIX ha_prod >
ISM is also refusing to start on this host (previous post )
Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and effort.

The sql finally completed after I resolved an issue from another post
regarding ISM not starting. Once I followed the commands/procedures as
outlined for resolution in the IBM Tech Note
(http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21109108), the rogue
sysmaster sql completed.
Thanks,
Mike
